It was twenty years ago when Mike first picked up a trowel and was told to 'Wing it and lay up'.

From this point on he developed a passion for plastering, he put himself through trade school and fine-tuned his craft.

 

Five years on, in 2003, Mike decided it was time to skim the market on his own to become a contract plasterer. As his workload increased hiring a trowel hand and labourer along the way, he noticed a common theme within the industry.

·         There was this real lack of quality in workmanship and reliable systems on the market.

·         Health and safety for tradesmen on construction sites was non-existent.

·         The level of service and communication between customers and their plasterers was unsatisfactory.

 

We decided to change this...In 2010, Mike and Zoe formed Coastline Plastering Ltd and with a solid vision in mind and became Exclusive applicators of Resene Construction Systems - A system we love and trust.

 

We introduced high quality workmanship with in-house trained staff - BCITO accredited and LBP licenced, safe and compliant working environments for our staff - Site Safe Qualified and SSSP trained and outstanding customer service where communication is high, and you the customer, come first!

 

We now have a fleet of 8 vehicles on the road between The Kapiti Coast, Wellington and Christchurch to accommodate our growing team of highly skilled and competent staff.
